Why I'm Going to be a Zombie Today

Sometimes, I cannot fall asleep. Last night was one of those nights. 2:00 am. That's when I finally fell asleep. <insert yawn here> My brain likes to do this dumb thing where I think about everything that has happened in my life, and everything I wish could happen. I wish it would just SHUT UP! Because this was my brain last night:

-Hey, Hannah! I'm going to keep thinking of the same 2 lines of song lyrics over, and over, and over.
-Let's think of what would happen if you ever met this celebrity? Would you guys hit it off? Duh! Yeah        
 you would! That will make you think of everything you guys would do together.
-Man, I think you ate too much popcorn. Let's have your stomach make weird noises.
-I know what will make you feel better! I'm going to give you 2 different lines of song lyrics from a different 
 song that you can think of over your other 2 lines of song lyrics.
-Hannah your parents are already asleep. Why aren't you?
-Remember that movie you saw like 3 months ago? That was a great movie. 
-You are going to be so tired in the morning.
-You haven't written Lenin in a while (Lenin is my family's Compassion kid. His birthday was the 20th. He's
  8 years old!! (: )
-Ahhh! Your room is too warm to fall asleep in! It has to be a precise 60 degrees (or whatever it decided).
-Hey guess what? Remember how you were too full? You're hungry now! 
MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Let's all sing the songs in your head!

My dad taught me a trick. Try counting from 1 and keep going until you mess up or forget what number you're on. Then start over. The problem with that is I'm a girl. I can multitask. That means my brain can multitask too. It can think of a song, about what's going to happen tomorrow, about a bunch of random stuff, all while counting and even if my mind wanders, I can still remember what number I'm at. My brain is nasty.

And now it's Friday, and you're supposed to stay up late on Fridays, and I probably won't be able to because I'll fall asleep on the couch or something. That reminds me. I almost did fall asleep on the bathroom floor this morning. I was getting dressed, and the bathroom is really warm, and my pillow was in there (I sometimes sit in there and play my ukulele because its warm), and so I laid my head on my pillow and almost fell asleep. So my goal for today is to not fall asleep when I'm not supposed to. 

Oh, and instead of brains, I'm going to want sleep.

Also, I'm hungry now so I think I will go get some lunch.
